Hi Terri,
I had an encounter 4 days ago where myself and the other male were both nude. He was on top of me giving me a lap dance and dry humping me (penis to anal contact). This only went on for a few minutes and there was no penetration. In the 4th day, I started feeling some light burning feelings and tingling sensations in my groin/penis area that comes and goes.
What are the chances that there might have been hsv transmission from his anus to my penis during this time? (He said he is not aware that he’s ever shown symptoms of hsv)
If I do not show any other symptoms or visible sores after 14 days post exposure, would that mean I am in the clear?
Is this something that could all just be mental anxiety?
Few more details, I have been feeling some pretty intense burning sensations in my genital region and groin area on and off and been feeling fairly run down and lethargic as well. Haven’t had a fever.
The other guy tested negative for HSV2 back in August but is positive for HSV1(value of 9). He claims he has never had a cold sore or anything so my guess is it would be GHSV1.
Does this change or increase my chances of contracting HSV1 from my encounter? Could my symptoms be from anxiety and stress working myself up? It’s been a week since the encounter and only these symptoms. No sores or lesions that I have seen yet
If he has genital HSV 1, it is very rarely shed from the anal or genital area. I think the encounter sounds very low risk to me, even if he has HSV 1 genital infection, which we just don’t know.
Terri
