Hello Terri,
I was diagnosed with genital hsv-1 in 2021z
Recently I have been having (since April 19 or so) what I believe is a recurrence of hsv-1 in my eyes. I have had some herpes looking lesions above my eyebrow and the inner corner of my eye (pink part) is swollen and has small lesions. After this I got a big blister looking pimple on my forehead that lasted about 2 weeks. Since then I have had multiple small pimples on my forehead and temples.
A few days ago I noticed similar looking pimples on my mom and sister. I think they might have sipped something from my drink and I am wondering if this could be causing an atypical presentation of HSV-1? Also if I transmitted this to them?

I think it is very unlikely that the pimples on your mom and sister have anything to do with herpes from sipping something from your drink. If that were true, the lesions would be on their lips, not their eye
If you are concerned about herpes outbreaks around your eye, you should be seen very soon by an eye doctor for an evaluation – don’t wait.Terri

Hello Terri,
I have now been experiencing pimple like blisters on my back, legs, shoulders and hands. I’m addition to my face. My partner is also having pimple like blisters all over his body and face and he has never struggled with acne or any skin conditions. I have eczema, my fear is I have red eczema increases the risk for disseminated infection. My sister is now having lesions on her scalp.
Have you ever seen HSV be on multiple parts of the body ? I can’t think it’s a coincidence.
I was seen by an eye doctor and they said it’s allergies but I feel the tingling sensations on my eyelids. I am in so much distress over this and the guilt of thinking I gave it to my sister.

Herpes doesn’t cause lesions all over your body as you describe, no. And you didn’t give this to your sister if you have genital HSV 1.
I think you are not understanding how herpes works and how it is transmitted.
I would strongly encourage you to visit with a trusted health are professional to have the bumps evaluated. They are almost certainly no disseminated HSVTerri

Thank you Terri,
I saw my pcp who said it looked like dyshiriotic eczema. But would it be possible to have facial lessons?
