Hello Terry,
I recently had test done just to make sure I am okay. I had no knowledge of ever being exposed. It was just a routine check up but when my results came back I found out that I have HSV-2 with an index range of 31.7 from an IGG blood test and my HSV-1 test was negative. However, I have never had any symptoms whatsoever, nor have any past partners come back and let me know that they have tested positive. But I was just sick last month with a sinus bacterial infection, and I was giving antibiotics to help rid me of the infection. Could that have caused a positive test result? This has been really hard to find out and I have questions but I won’t get to see the doctor until next week to discuss the results.
