Hello Ms. Warren,
My thread of comments has been deleted.
I really need to stay off Med help, especially now that doctor forums are no longer accepting new questions. I was on the Herpes general forum and a member mentioned that I still need to be tested for HSV 1&2 as BV does not cause soreness, irritation, or pain during sex.
Even though the BV test came back positive, he explained that something else had to be present and HSV is a possibility. This just sent my nerves into a tail spin because I am just on edge. I understand the internet is full of information, but it gets hard to distinguish between quality advice and quack information.
1) Can BV cause irritation during sex?
2) Can BV be confused with a primary HSV infection?
3) Have you had cases where women have had primary HSV and BV simultaneously?
4) Have you ever seen a bad case of BV and it was just BV
5) Where is the link that explains how a person can become a patient at your clinic, via the phone?
6) I promise to stay of medhelp, its just the symptoms and information are confusing and scary.
Sorry about that, we deleted old messages and I”ll bet yours got deleted based on the start date of your thread, not your most recent. I’ll have to keep an eye on that.
I think BV can be irritating for some women yes, I have certainly seen that in the past.
NO, BV would not be confused with primary HSV infection
Yes, I have seen both at the same time, but rarely.
Just go the front page of our website, call the clinic and make an appointment, it’s pretty easy
How about if you just talk to me? No one else knows quite as much about this journey, I don’t think, as I do
The internet is both a blessing and a curse. I really hate to see people getting upset by lay people, but I guess its part of the deal now.
I’ll be in the office next week on Tuesday and Thursday and will be happy to talk with you if you like. I’m sure I have openings in my schedule.
Terri
