Hello,
Wanted to get your take on what may be going on. I made the mistake of going to massage therapist that ended in an unplanned but accepted handjob. The masseuse was fully clothed and used an or other non water based substance. Needless so say I did not last very long nor was it enjoyable.
The week Prior to the massage incident I had just started to ride road bikes again and think I may have chafed the penis. Additionally I used a very stong chemical soap to clean the penis thinking the chaffing might also be fungal / bacterial as I get breakouts on my thighs occasionally. A short time after that I started to develop irritation & pain on my penis. All together it left my manhood angry as it been for several months now.
There have been no visible legions / pustules / or evidence of herpes 1/2 on the penis other than a horizontal crack to opened and took a several days to close. All the while I’ve had random pain / discomfort from the area including electric shock type pain that ends up at my anus.
I have tested negative for HSV1/2 using Quest Diagnostic’s HerpeSelect @ 1 week, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks. Also tested negative at 1 & 12 weeks for Ghonerrea, Siphlis, and Trich.
At 2 weeks I went to a private pay clinic and showed the doctor what I was concerned was (3 red / blue nodules that were present on the top right on top of a vein. He said these were not herpes and did a swab of my penis which came back negative for HSV1/2
I planned to get tested at 16 weeks for IGG and potentially a Western Blot through UW at 18. At what point can I be comfortable / confident that I don’t have an infection? How likely could I have gotten infected from this activity?
I personally think you could relax now. handjobs are not a method of transmission for herpes. Not at all.
Terri
