Hi Terri,
My second question was, in your opinion do you think vulvular vestibulitis is caused by HSV2?
Thank You
No, not really, I don’t.
Terri
Thank You, 3rd question
I have had tingling, prickly sensations all over my body since I found out I was HSV 2 positive, not before. I mean everywhere, I notice it mostly here lately on right hip then left hip sometimes. Or when I sit. Never had a outbreak, I check everyday. Is this considered a prodrome and does that mean the virus is shedding when I feel those sensations?
So that has to be psychological. You were HSV 2 positive well before you found out that you are infected so if the tingling was related to herpes, you would have felt it well before the time you were told you had herpes.
Also herpes does not cause tingling all over the body. For people who have outbreaks, they sometimes experience some tingling down the back of the leg. But if it is constant, then it is very unlikely to be herpes.
