Hi Terri,
On march 29th I had an erotic massage. It was my first sexual contact in almost four years. Immediately prior to the massage I noticed a dermatological issue on her hand. There was a dark colored mark about the circumference of a pencil eraser on her index finger and another on her thumb. I did not get a good look at these marks as it was very dark in the room. She took off her clothes and climbed onto my back which I was not expecting and did not want. She rubbed herself all over me for about a half hour. This included her grinding her vagina into my lower back and buttocks. I could feel her pubic stubble prickling me. She put a lot of weight on me and cracked my back many times. After doing that I flipped over and she gave me a hand job, at one point my penis touched her thigh. No genital to genital contact occurred.
About five days later I started having severe tailbone pain, such that I could barely sit down. I also had tingling sensations down my left buttocks and the back of my left thigh. Several days after that I had burning skin on my left inner thigh, it felt like i had a sunburn only without redness. After several days this moved to behind my left knee and then several days later it went away. It has not recurred. The symptoms lasted about two weeks. I have not had any lesions or any genital symptoms.
I am certain that she messed up my back when she was cracking it. I assume this is what was causing the tailbone pain, but do you think the burning skin could have anything to do with herpes? If I was to have burning thigh skin from herpes would that only happen during a recurrent outbreak?
The marks on her hands were not red, nor swollen, nor did they look like blisters or lesions. However they may have been scabs. If they were an old, scabbed whitlow infection what would be the chances of HSV being transmitted via a handjob?
Does this event sound like a herpes risk? Could my symptoms be caused by herpes?
Thank you
There was nothing that transpired in this interaction that put you at risk for herpes – nothing whatsoever. If you do have genital herpes, it would not be from this interaction as your describe it to me here.
Terri
