I have a small red bump- non fluid filled, non painful, non tender- didn’t experience any itching, burning or tightness. When I touch my lip, it feels like it’s on my lip, but when I rub my tongue over my lip I can’t feel anything. When I look in the mirror, it looks like it’s on the border but maybe a little on the lip, I can’t tell. When I use the magnifier mirror, I can’t see anything on the lip per se. It seems like a hair follicule with a little bit of redness on it. Hasn’t changed since about three days? When I look in the normal mirror looks like a tiny red bump on and near my lip. Does this sound heretic? Is every bump that occurs on the lip herpetic?
that does not sound herpetic to me. Generally, herpes lesions are tender when pressed and they would almost certainly change over a three day period of time. And if this was a herpes lesion, somewhere in the three day period, you would see something visible without a magnifying glass.
