      I am sexually active so I decided to get tested for herpes. I’ve never had a cold sore or any genital signs. My test came back: HVS 1 IGG 5.16 and HVS 2 IGG 13.8. I’m assuming there’s no chance is it’s a false positive, so my question is: what is the best suppression therapy.

      I think it is likely that you are infected with both HSV 1 and 2.
      My preference for suppressive therapy is valacyclovir (Valtrex) 500 my once daily
