      Hi Terri,

I posted a few months back.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to have a healthy sexual relationship with my girlfriend because of my fears of getting herpes despite using condoms and antivirals. She broke up with me over it.

then I got what I think symptoms

They don’t really hurt but I know that doesn’t matter.

      What do you think?

This does not looking anything like HSV 1 genital infection. It does however, look like an infection called molluscum contagiosum. Molluscum is a viral infection caused by the pox virus and is often sexually transmitted in adults. I would recommend that you go to see a dermatologist for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of this very common and benign skin condition. I cannot make a diagnosis of anything based on a picture but this one looks pretty similar to molluscum to me

As for the HSV 1 infection – I’m assuming you were tested to determine that you yourself do not have HSV 1 and that you know that the majority of the population does have this common skin condition and you are likely to encounter it in another person in your dating life though they may not know that they have it. Just sayin’

      Terri
