So a while back I took a westernblot with you after receiving a handjob. No oral, spit, touching each other. Just a handjob at a massage parlor. You said it was ok to take the westernblot at ten weeks. Haven’t had sex with anyone else for years prior to that. My westernblot came back negative after ten weeks from hanjob. Do you think this is accurate? Would I have gotten a different results waiting 14 more days? That’s my main concern. My symptoms are urgency everyday going on five months. Swollen red testicles, pain where bladder is, sometimes after peeing My penis hurts. Also white like discharge after I urinate. It’s never burned to pee, but sometimes feels strained. You told me to move past this.m, but I guess my question is. Is ten weeks good enough for results? Haven’t had sex with anyone else, and still trying to figure out what’s going on.

I do not think there was ever a risk nor need for a western blot but since you did it and it was negative, I think you certainly don’t need to do it again! And your symptoms are not related to herpes. 10 weeks is definitely good enough. I hope you’ll visit with a urologist to see what’s going on.

Hi Terri I’ve been seeing my urologist, and still trying to figure things out. My symptoms have gotten better, but now I’m worried. My last two urinanalysis have found blood trace intact(rbc). It’s been six months since dealing with symptoms, and now all of a sudden rbc are showing up in urine. Is this a symptom, or sign of hsv? I thought it was typically wbc? Sorry I keep messaging you even though I was negative. I still worry about this

Blood in the urine is not a sigh or symptoms of herpes, no, not at all. But this is certainly something you would want to follow through with with the urologist.’

Terri I know I’ve said this before, but I think this will be my final question. So I know you said handjobs are not a risk, but say this woman did have herpetic whitlow at the time I received the handjob. Would a negative western blot at 10 weeks be sufficient enough to move past all of this?

Terri are you there? Just curious on what you think about my last post?
