Hi Terri,
I have recently started seeing someone and last Wednesday 4/25 I broke out in a cold sore.
Saturday 4/28 we were at his place and after a few drinks stupidly started making out and I even more stupidly gave him unprotected oral for about 30 seconds.
Thare was no oozing at the time and the cold sore isn’t on my lip but just underneath.
It’s day 5 past exposure and he is starting to exhibit symptoms of a cold (sore throat and sniffly nose)
What are the chances I have infected him genitally? What are the chances he has it in two places now?
He can’t recall ever having a cold sore which terrifies us both even more.
Are all of our cold sores on this inside of your lip? If yes, then they are more likely canker sores which are not caused by herpes.
Terri
