Can you get HSV2 on your genitals from using someone else’s jock itch cream? If someone has HSV2 on their genitals and uses jock itch cream (to treat jock itch), then you use the same tube of cream a day or two later, is there any chance of transmission? I would assume a good amount of contact of crotch area and the cream and the tube by both parties.

This does not present any opportunity for transmission of HSV 2, no.
