Hi both me and my partner both have hsv 1 orally and we are both aware Ive had a hsv 1 outbreak genitally about 10 years ago this morning I noticed two bumps on near my anus and one outside of my vagina … Me and partner do not use protection . We did not have intercousre just a little skin to skin rubbing which was very brief how likely will my partner catch this genitally if I’am having a outbreak !! Please help so confused .. I’m not sure if he has any protection now having it orally
The good news is that he is extremely unlikely to get HSV 1 in a new location, once he has it orally. HSV 1, regardless of location, should not be an issue for you as a couple.
