contracted Genital HSV2 October 2021 and have had for a year. My wife contracted Oral HSV2 during oral intercourse approximately 3 months ago. At what point is there no further risk of having unprotected vaginal sex with my wife for her contracting genital HSV2?

I have read in the studies that once HSV2 is contracted in either location (the mouth or genitals) that the body will produce enough antibodies to prevent further spread of infection to other areas of the body as long as the initial transmission was to only one area (mouth or genitals) and not both both at the same time. This process is said to take up to 4 months? Is this true?
