I have been secretly seeing this guy for a couple months. A few days ago we went oit for drinks and had way too many. This led to fooling around he put a condom on and tried to have sex with me. I told him to stop after just a couple of times penetrating me. He decided to go down on me and and used my toys inside and outside of me instead then proceeded to perform oral sex on me.

The next day in the evening I noticed I had a single lesion outbreak. I am freaking out because I didn’t know or was too drunk to notice it coming on and I was sexually active with him.

I am sick to my stomach he will
Contract HSV2 from our drunken night and feel horrible I am a lot more aware and careful than this.

I do take valtrex but i have forgotten to take it daily in the last couple weeks.

What are the odds he will contract HSV2?

So if you used a condom, that’s good. giving you oral sex presents some risk but not a huge one as HSV 2 prefers the genital area. I would suggest that you go back on suppression and be regular about your dosing or it just doesn’t work. You need to be on suppression for five days regularly before it is fully effective.
