I currently take 1 gram of valtrex a day for suppression but I feel it decreases my sex drive. Have you had other males with ED who take valtrex? I have tried cialis with some improvement but not always. I seem better when off the valtrex but would like to keep taking it for symptom management. Any suggestions. Thanks

I’ve not had a patient tell that they have had ED as a side effect of Valtrex nor have I heard it elsewhere. In addition, there isn’t any biologic reason that the ingredients in
valtrex would have an impact on the ability to obtain or maintain an erection.Terri
