Valtrex dosage

I have utilized multiple different dosage regimens with valtrex. I found that 500 mg twice a day didn’t do it but 1 gram once a day does helps but at times I feel it wears off as evening comes. My questions are
1. Can someone go beyond a gram a day for suppressive therapy? Like 1 gram in the morning and 500 mg at night?
2. What is the highest dose you have seen for suppressive therapy?

That would be an exceptional dose, but probably not dangerous, though I would recommend you discuss this with your prescriber
2. What is the highest dose you have seen for suppressive therapy?
1 gram – with an increase with symptoms.
