Hey Terri,
I have been experiencing what I believe are genital herpes symptoms for quite some time. I am in Canada and have received 3 negative IGG tests over the years with no index values. I have received a few swabs that have also turned out negative and am usually left with a diagnosis of folliculitis, or anxiety. My symptoms usually include skin bumps on my pelvic area, burning, irritation, and cramping in my right calf. I am hoping you can help me, as I’m curious if I can get the Western Blot test done while residing in Canada.
Thanks.
you can get the western blot while living in Canada, yes. The process is that you need to purchase a shipping label so that UW can send you the necessary kit. Then you would need to find a lab in Canada that would draw your blood and process it and then you would ship it back to UW. You could call UW and tell them you are in Canada and ask them about the exact process of you getting the kit.

Hi Terri,
I have ordered the blot kit from UW and am now trying to book an e-visit with you but am not able to find any available time slots, I am wondering if their is a technical issue or if you are booked up.
Thanks.
There are available appointments on May 2
Terri
