Western Blot in Europe

Hi Terri,
I have experinced several herpes symptoms over the past years. I broke up with my boyfriend because we both couldn‘t deal with my anxiety because of it anymore. So now I want to start dating again. But before i can start I really need some clarity and peace of mind. I did 2 combined IgG Tests for Hsv 1/2 both negative and 1 IgG Test only for HSV 2. I had weird rashes in my genital area and I showed it to my OBGYN. She told me it might be herpes. But another OBGYN said it didn‘t look like herpes at all. I don‘t know what to beleave and i really struggle with anxiety now. I want to do a Western Blot, but the Problem ist that I live in Austria (sorry for my entlish by the way). I‘ve read, that you know a woman in London that can draw the blood and helps with shipping it to the UW.
Is it possible for me (not UK-citizen) to get my blood drawn by her and sent to the UW if i travel to London?
I tried to make up an appointment via telehealth but I don‘t live in the US so I can‘t select a State. What should I do about it?
Will the long duration of the shipping (2-4 days) be a problem for the performance of the WB?
Do I have to order the WB set myself or doed the woman you know in London order it?

You should make up a US address and set up an appointment and I can facilitate the testing for you through our colleague in London. We would be the ordering clinicians. The duration of shipping is not an issue, no.

NO, they won’t ship it to you. Our person has what they need to do the blood draw

Yes, but you have to go to her to have it done.
