What are your thoughts? HSV2

Hi

So i had a encounter with someone that bascially long story short only the tip of my penis went in and nothing more.

A couple days later i started feeling this tingly sensation on the tip of my penis and sometimes burning. Im going on week 4 now and havent had any ulcers or cyst or anything like that. But still feeling the tingling.

I did get tested i knew ive had hsv 1 but my hsv2 level came back at 1.07. They gave me anti biodics for 7 days 3x a day and i finished it about 4 days ago but still have the sensation. Do you think it is hsv 2 or what should i do. Since the encounter its been exactly 24 days now

After reading a seen i left some out. It was her vaginal that it went into. The test was a blood test. It does not hurt or burn when i urinate or anything like that

So you have an equivocal result on your IgG test. I would recommend that you repeat the IgG test in 3 to 4 weeks and if it’s considerably higher but still under three, then you should obtain a western blot. It’s entirely possible that your next test will be negative. I don’t believe that you acquire genital herpes from putting the tip of your penis into somebody’s vagina for just a second.

I didnt have any sores just tingling and a light burning sensation on the tip of my penis but nothing else.

My HSV 1 & 2 IGM was at 1.00
My HSV 2 IGg was at 1.07

Do you think next time it may be another equivocal or negative test? Like i said it was just the tip i didnt end up having a full sex or anything of that.

The burning and tingling isnt as bad now.

When i started feeling that sensation was on march 13 and the feeling just started going away yesterday. But no flare up, sores, blisters nothing like that. It didnt hurt when i peed or anything like that

I think herpes in your situation is highly unlikely, honestly

Got another blood test drawn for hsv2 today and came back positive but it didnt give me the levels just said positive or negative. Im getting another test done tomorrow to see if they give me levels and go from there.

The tingling/burning sensation on the tip of my penis came back again. I tried masterbating and after ejaculation i noticed some blood in my sperm.

What should i do?..

Blood in semen by itself is not a big concern – that happens from time to time with many men.
I agree that knowing the level with an IgG test is good, but if it is low positive, what then, and if a higher positive, what then?
The western blot will give you an answer about your situation and I feel that in the end, that’s what you need to do to get a clear answer.
