Ok so on February 10 I got a full panel test for the first time I think. Every time I would get tested in the past at clinics I thought this infection was included as well, but this time I went to a different clinic they do full panels. I was called on February 14th while getting ready to spend the day with my boyfriend and was told I have Herpes at a “low Level”. I instantly started to panic and asked the woman on the phone what this meant? she didn’t really specify.
So I gets off the phone with her and calls my boyfriend to tell him the news and he’s just as shocked. We put our plans behind and raced to the clinic to see what was going on. The doctor told me that I have HSV-2 only with No-symptoms. I still wasn’t happy with the news so she gives me and my boyfriend a IGM test. My IGM test comes back NEGATIVE, and my HSV 2 IGG results came back positive with a (4.17 H Index). My HSV 1 results were <0.90.
My boyfriend was positive for HSV-1 which wasn’t really new news to him and his HSV-2 results negative.
So I Haven’t had any tender, soreness, or red bumps on my Penis area and when I did have a itch in the pass I thought it was just my public hairs poking me or something.
After finding out the news my world has been vey Dem. I have not wanted to go outside, I Haven’t been turning in Assignments, etc
Me and My Boyfriend went Full Vegetarian and I have been taking Elderberry Pills, Lysine Pills, Digestive pills, eating Sea- moss daily, taking Ginger Shots, drinking tons of water. We went all out lol.
I want to take the Western Blot Test but I don’t Know when the right time is. My boyfriend says I should wait until I take all the pills and that should be about a month and a half.
My kit should be here any day now. Should I take it ASAP or wait? Is it worth taking with my levels being the way they are? I got a Blood test at another clinic literally right after the first. I haven’t seen those levels yet but I was told that Positive Anti-bodies were found.

Update: So Yesterday I went to Urgent Care and picked up my Results from my second Testing I did.
Clinic One Testing : Done on 02/10/22. Told I was HSV- 2 positive with a 4.17 Index on February 14th. Test done by Quest Diagnostics
Clinic 2 Testing : Done on 02/15/22. Told I was HSV- 2 positive on 18th. This test was done by LabCorp.
How did I drop 2 points & some change in 5 days? I’m just really confused

Unfortunately, the IGm test is a waste of time and money. You now have a very low positive in spite of having a significantly higher positive earlier. Has your boyfriend been tested? If your boyfriend has tested negative, and he has been your only partner in the past three months, and you have been his only partner in the past three months, you can go ahead and do the western blot now. The timing of doing the western blot has nothing to do with your index values but it has everything to do with the last time you could’ve possibly had sex with anyone who has HSV two positive. Does that make sense?

Thank You!!! For getting back to me. No I have not been Intimate with anyone else in the pass 3 months but my boyfriend and his results were negative. I’m getting on that Western Blot now. I’m just confused as to how the levels can change so quickly and fast like that. It made me raise an eyebrow. From 4.17 to 1.57 in 5 days

Was it the same lab? I know it was too different clinics and I’m wondering if it was 2 different labs. That would explain the difference.
