› Forums › Herpes Questions › When should i talk to my partner about low positive.
I got tested last week and went in to discuss my results with my doctor on Saturday.I tested .91 for HSV1 and 1.18 HSV2 . I have 0 symptoms and only tested because i have a new partner. I just spent Saturday night and today wit her, but didn’t tell her about the initial test. I made sure we didn’t have sex when she tried initiating and said i’m waiting on test results and she should get tested. I have a retest coming Wednesday. Should i tell about low positive her now or wait till Wednesday?
You can tell her about it but what are you going to do about it? You should obtain a western blot for clarity. It is very likely that this is a false positive result and you need to find out ASAP.
