Hi, I’m glad I found this site because I had a sexual encounter that I’ve become a little worried about

So it was me (male) and another man,
I fingered him anally, then masturbated my penis while he masturbated his penis. He then went from masturbating his penis to mine briefly.

After the hookup, I noticed a swollen red cut-like spot underneath his penis head. He told me that it was friction from masturbating. I looked closely and it didn’t look like a herpes lesion, more like a cut.. but I’m still a little worried.

Because he was touching himself and then me right afterwards, am I at risk for contracting HSV?

None of the herpes experts believe that hands are a method of transmission, including me. I don’t think this is a risk for you.
