I recently fingered a girl and was worried that I could get herpes on my finger. I noticed my cuticle was pushed up but had no cuts. I don’t know if she has herpes or not. It has been 17 days. I have no blisters or anything but once I googled if it was possible I got nervous and started to feel everything on my finger.
Thanks for your time.
I guess I am worried about the chances of it happening and should I be worried.
If this happened 17 days ago and you have had no blistering on your finger, I think you are just fine. This presents no risk of acquisition given that your skin on the finger was intact.

Hi Terri,
I have one more question. I am a male and received about 30 seconds of unprotected oral sex before I stopped her. She told me she was clean and had no sores on her mouth I paid close attention. This was about six months ago. I haven’t had any symptoms but when I was reading about my finger I learned that you can get herpes from oral sex as well and it has been on my mind ever since. What do you think my risk level is and do you think I should go get tested?
If you have had no symptoms, then I think it is unlikely you got infected with the encounter that you describe. Have you ever had a cold sore? If yes, then you are already infected with HSV 1.
