One week ago my husband and I had oral and vaginal sex. The next day I found out he had been having an affair and the women has genital herpes. He did confirm this with me. She claims to be on antivirals and he says he has no symptoms. Before I found out about the herpes I ended up drinking and having sex with a friend… is there any possibility I could have infected my friend 23 hours after I was potentially exposed ? I do have some symptoms now.

Well, you don’t know that your husband acquired HSV from this other partner. And you don’t know if he has it. And you also don’t know if you have it. If no one has any symptoms at all, I think transmission to your friend is highly unlikely
