I meant more what was your motivation to know – for example, is there legal action against you for infecting her, are you having legal infection against her for infecting you? Is she telling people you know that you gave her herpes and you are upset about that? That kind of thing. Maybe you just want to know for your own information with no other agenda.
I’m sorry we can’t provide a definitive yes or no answer to your question. That must be frustrating for you. If it helps at all, this question comes up very very often. People want to know for a variety of reasons. But unless antibody testing is done with the first set of symptoms, it simply cannot be known for certain.
