I believe that I already told you that you were not at risk at the sexual experience. I think you need establish a baseline value, but I see no reason to test for the experience that you had with her. But I do think you should find out if you have herpes from some previous sexual experience in your life, just to be sure! The IgM test is useless. It doesn’t make me think anything in particular about your situation. It just makes me think that physicians should learn that IgM testing for herpes is not at all useful. I believe that you are not at risk of acquiring herpes in this situation.
