Hi Terri:
I think you and my girlfriends specialist are right about the rash – it’s not Herpes – she was given Triamicinolone Acetonide Cream for a dermatological issue and cleared up in a week – however her rocket scientist of a doctor wouldn’t speak to, or see her for two weeks to discuss her blood test and then oops panic when he finally condoned he found out about her immune system. I’ve been using Acyclovir prescribed (without seeing me) by my doctor and after 10 days not a lot of change. The rash is not raised – just red specks and overall redness. I’m going to try her treatment.
My first date lasted about 8 weeks and I last slept with her 6 weeks before sleeping with my current girlfriend – I was fine until a week after we had sex – I also now agree that the Vertigo was probably post concussion from walking into a glass door. (My doctor just laughs), he gave me steroids and sent me on my way – until I insisted on a blood test at $600.
I contacted the first date and she said she had cold sores all her life but wouldn’t get a blood test when I suggested it – but she thinks she ‘probably’ gave it to me (my first American date!). My current girlfriend (Latin) with the low antinuclear antibodies (1/2500) went down severely after i went into Emergency (she took me), she’s still ill after 8 weeks.
BTW neither of us have a cold sore – but I had an ulcer on my gum and she had several after falling ill.
At this point I don’t think I have any questions except an opinion – Doctors are academics, but lack common sense – they don’t listen and they jump to conclusions – chucking the same old drugs at one – I personally know of incompetence in a number of cancer case – but this isn’t the place.
DRACO looks promising – I’ve followed this since 2011, but no way will Ryder get funding – not with all the lovely money to be made once the 80% get an outbreak. What a business? Sign me up!
Thanks for the answers – sincerely – you really are a great help – but doctors no – “Physician Heal Thyself,” and thats exactly what I’m going to do.
