just did 2nd renewal.
I am struggling in 2 areas: understanding if my symptoms are herpetic and understanding how to interpret igg.
1) on my symptoms, since potential infection the 3 things I have noticed are a) the small bump that lasted a week then went away above penis. no crusting or whitehead it was like a mosquito bite but 1/2 size of eraser head. i believe a month later it barely came back and went away..but hardly noticeable. b) slight burn sensation when peeing that was 1 week after that I noticed, and then after another month or so noticed it again. finally, small red dots on upper thighs. not noticeable for most, but in each case there tends to be one that emerges with small whitehead. its size of pencil lead tip. it does not look rashy but more like some spot irritation. and then goes away. although slight crust over. my thought if a larger one I will get it swabbed. but trying to understand my body in sense if this is indicative of an OB.
And IGG. sorry to keep harping. at 3.7-4.5 igg hsv2, I feel i likely have it so why no western blot at this point. if you disagree let me know
2) what do I make of the 4.5 on day ~90? At day 35 I started to take acyclovir, also lysine and other vitamins. I would think this would actually lower my antibodies vs. raise? Or is this variation 3.7 vs. 4.5 statistically insignificant vs. indicative of a new infection?
3) here is my main question on igg – are there ANY statistics of how likely a new infection would be igg 3.7 after just 4 weeks? what would you say is the more likely score of a new after 30/60/90 days? I have scoured the internet and can’t find “average igg after 30 days of infection” but what I’m really trying to figure out?! not looking for promises but just your gut based on what I’ve described and your professional opinion
