1. I believe you’re testing will not change with any additional test done
2. I recommend a Western blot under several circumstances–people who are having a hard time accepting IgG results, people who have symptoms of herpes but are testing negative, people who have high negatives particularly on their HSV one test who are concerned about HSV one specifically. In your situation, I really don’t see the need for Western blot except for peace of mind and I would say that peace of mind, for some people, is worth everything
3. I think the odds that you have herpes, given all of this, are very very low.
