My advice stands. Your experience was an extremely low risk for herpes and I think you are being very aware of your body sensations. I think you should try to stop checking your genital area and for now, stop shaving your scrotum. Just wash with antibacterial soap, dry well, consider using a little antifungal powder on the scrotum and leave it alone for half a day. You can look at lunchtime and bedtime, but other than that, I would leave it alone. The sensations of the scrotum that you describe do not worry me at all about you having herpes.
