Should I trust the igg test for negative HSV2 index<.9? What is likely hood this new site is hsv 2? (Lesion roof of mouth). Negative igM for both hsv 1 and hsv 2. I gave oral sex sometime last year of End of May. I have only been with this man for past year and no one before him for 4 years. No sore in my lady bits. I had another pelvic exam because burning won’t go away. Gyno reassures she sees no visible lesions. She says with 1 1/2 week of Valtrex symptoms of burning would of subSided if I’m fact it was a herpes infection. Burning persists till now. About 2 weeks. I ran a std panel out of paranoia. Everything negative. Had heavy make out session with bf a week before sores appeared in mouth. He never showed symptoms of typical hsv infection. Nor symptoms entire year together. Of course, Uneducated about hsv 1 viral shedding. Could this be indeed another hsv 1 site? And why now in roof of the mouth? Never before? If I have well established infection? Keep thinking autoinoculation? Would being diabetic heighten the likelihood of autoinoculation? If not hsv 2 infection?
