There is no specific number on the results. Just says >8. Yes, IGG. Do you recommend WB or should I just accept this and move on? I haven’t thought about it in years until my new partner became ill which caused an insane amount of anxiety and I instantly thought about HSV… he’s become better, and we’ve been intimate since. We have probably had sex about five times since meeting last month, three times with the intent of using condoms (broke every time.) Two days after our last encounter last week, I woke up with red bumps that later resembled pimples on my inner thighs, vaginal burning sensation, as well as a cold sore, which worries me. Could sex trigger an outbreak? Or was I about to have an outbreak anyways? Was I more contagious? Could it be that he has it and I broke out because I slept with him? Could a HSV+ person who is shedding, have sex with another HSV+ person and make them have an outbreak? Transmission rates and shedding rates tend to confuse me as I don’t know the difference. I’m worried for his health. He doesn’t know, as my status has been unclear, but I believe there is no denying this much longer. I haven’t heard from him in regards to feeling unwell on his genitals. I take antivirals daily so I’m hoping that’s in his favor. Thank you.
