It’s kind of hard not to over think this when im reading many people on medhelp that come back positive at a much later date. Positive swab or just having a bump (like me) and negative blood work months and even year later. I really wish The dermatologist would of swabbed it at The time but I just put trust in her judgement thinking it can’t be h2 cause it lingered for months and never pussed and ulcered. Also it’s still there kind of as it turned it flesh colored and I’d imagine if it was h2 related it would of ulcered or something with the trama. Apparently many people has had The same symptom as me not the atypical symptoms you read about online. The fact the girl was a carrier of h2 makes it worse with anxiety. Also many people with symptoms on medhelp being told to trust the results 3 or 4 months out and later come back with positive results and will be ignored or told simply that some people just don’t make antibodies. I’m starting to realize this is the very reason they don’t regularly test for this and cdc is against routinely testing as many people take well over the 12 16 wk period and alot just don’t create the antibodies until a much later timeframe low positives at that. There is ALOT of these cases but I understand that is the regular igG and I have more faith in the western blot. Ive tested well over 13 times and h1 was always caught h2 neg. That’s why I wondered about h1 antibodies battling h2 infection for a longer time. I’m gonna do the western blot at 8 1/2 months and call it quits I’ve done all I can do. I’m not gonna continue to stress over it. I’ll renew my subscription as I’ve already spent too much money as it is and I’m sure I’ll have more questions later. Also to update this thread if anyone is ever in my situation can read about. I thank you you for all your help and advice. I really appreciate the help you’re giving people.
