I am confused by the answer to number 7. I performed oral sex on him but my HSV2 has only manifested itself genitally. I have yet to get a sore orally. But are you saying I could still shed HSV2 orally? Also, I am now concerned that I may have contracted HSV1 orally from him and not know it. If that is the case, could I also spread HSV1 to another partner? Which test do you recommend as best for HSV1 detection?
