Hi Terri

I would like to post my final question, mostly for other individuals ( in a panic state) reading your informative website.

My IGG test results from Quest labs came in: HSV 1 > 5.00 ( No surprise here) I have suffered cold sores since I was a child
HSV 2 NEGATIVE ( it’s less then 0.90)

Since I have not engaged in any sexual activities for the last 6 months ( oral, kissing, penetrative sex) I will take these test results and move on with my life. It has been a very valuable learning experience.

To everyone who is reading these threads, and feels in limbo waiting for their test results, I hope my thread will ease some of your anxieties.

Terri you are an incredible person. You have dedicated your life in helping others. Thank you so much for everything you do.
