How accurate are the blood tests for herpes?

Is it possible to only have 1 outbreak and never have one again? Which is why I keep getting tested negative

The last thing is, when I tested positive for herpes type 1 several years ago which I am not concerned about. All of my outbreaks were on around the mouth area and they looked just like pimples. Looked a lot like the one in the genital area that I keep getting all the time. Which I am confused about being negative so many times for type 2
