Yes, these lesions look very much like herpes to me. It is not a scratch. Did your OB so a swab test of these lesions? It is important to know two things: 1) is it herpes (and the PCR swab test is best for this) and 2) what type of herpes is it (HSV 1 or HSV 2). If you are only having a blood test (and I would strongly recommend a swab test – PCR if at all possible) you want IgG testing only and it needs to be type specific. Do you think you could check with their office about these points?
