I think you mean that your partner did not have an HSV test, right?
The 1.35 is very low but the 3.4 is a rather different story. In my experience, the lab corp values do run higher than the Quest values. If you were our patient, we would ask that you order a western blot yes because even the 3.4 is below the 3.5 cutoff of low positive, even though it is just below. I’m not sure if an autoimmune disorder could make your IgG look falsely positive, really. Do you have a history of cold sores? Did they do an HSV 1 test, do you know?
