Your picture came out so small I can’t see anything in the corner of your mouth. Is there a way you can make it larger for me but maintain it’s clarity and resolution?
Yes, it is possible to acquire HSV 1 both orally and genitally at the same encounter, just in the way that you describe. However, it would be very unlikely for a true first herpes infection to be symptomatic for such a short time and then resolve. Also, look at the other side of your mouth where you don’t notice the symptoms and see if what you describe as tiny blisters are on the skin there as well. Sometimes when people have sensations like burning, they look closely and see bumps that might actually be normal but are now noticed.
My next question is have you ever had an antibody test for HSV 1? It might not be a bad idea to obtain one now – how long has it been since the contact?
