It really isn’t possible to know if the tingling is prodrome or not. I would say that anal pain probably isn’t prodromal but even if it isn’t, you are shedding virus from time to time. Tingling around the scrotum isn’t a normal location for prodromal symptoms.
March isn’t really such a new infection, right, you’ve had this for a while now.
How concerned is your partner about getting herpes from you? Are you using a condom with every intercourse now but would like to stop that to get pregnant?
