#2/3 What period of time is the newly injected considered to be most infectious? I read that it was the first 6 months or the first 1 year. I know they can always be infectious bc of asymptomatic shedding, but I wanted to know if viral shedding is higher the first 6 months or year?

#3/3 silly question, but will wearing tight fitting boxer during sex (to cover the boxer region that can be infectious)and a condom provide another layer of protection ?
