Thanks for quick response.

My understanding was infections less then a year may be lead to more frequent symptoms/outbreaks/discomfort, therefore that was my baseline for “new”.

Should I be concerned if I feel slight discomfort on the backside area that may be a sore, If during sexual activity I’ll only my genitals would be involved. In simpler terms— would transmission be specific to a sore or tingling location or is any genital contact at high risk.

We have sex without protection but in the past year I’ve only had sex 3-4 times due to my insecurities and still trying to get a handle on understanding my body to when I’m high risk even when on daily valtrex. She is supportive of the situation but I wouldn’t want to be cause for her any future discomfort.

Would appreciate your feedback on the most responsible and least at risk approach.
