Usually, women do not continue to take daily therapy during pregnancy but rather treat outbreaks as they come up. I know you are probably taking suppression also to reduce the risk of transmission to your partner. We know of no reason NOT to take valacyclovir during pregnancy – like complications with the baby, but this is something you really need to talk with your OB about.
