I would say the risk of in utero infection is very low AND it’s ok that you’ve taken Valtrex during your very early pregnancy.
Cracked hands do not make me worry more about autoinoculation.
I have never had a patient with established HSV 2 get herpes anywhere else that they didn’t have it already, no.
I really do think you can take whitlow off your list, yes, and I’m not at all worried about your husband getting it either.
The symptoms around your lips do not sound like herpes to me, no.
I’m not worried about towels that have been drying for a bit and I’m really not very worried about towels in general. That’s something we’ve said for years, but I’m not sure how valid that concern really is, quite honestly.
