Hi Terri,
I’m embarrassed that I’m here asking yet another question given that this issue should be resolved for me, but here I am..
I am still having some issues with the back of my legs being sore, as well as a burning sensation on the front of my thighs, back of my thighs, mons pubis, and sometimes on my butt cheeks. It comes and goes but has been present for the last month.
My 1st WB was taken at 6 weeks and was negative for HSV2 (positive for HSV1). My second WB was taken at 11 1/2 weeks with the same results. I took an IgG at Labcorp at approx 13 weeks which was negative (this was the lab that I had the low positive from) and another at 16 weeks, also negative.
Do you think this is a case of overactive anxiety or is there still a possibility that an HSV2 infection is present but hasn’t been picked up on a test? I have no reason to believe I’m immunocompromised and I did not take antivirals before the WBs. I took a 500 mg Valtrex pill on 2/14 & 2/15 but from what I’ve read that would be too little of a dose to effect results and assumably the 16 week IgG would still be accurate.
