The supplemental test at LabCorp is indeed the Biokit. I am in conversations with LabCorp about the problems with this test. I am presenting a paper about 33 of my patients who have been in the situation with a positive supplemental and negative western blot. Overwhelmingly, I see positive supplemental’s instead of negative supplemental’s but I don’t have the number there. Maybe six negative supplemental’s? The vast majority of outbreaks, if they are going to occur with a new infection, happen within 2 to 10 days after the sexual encounter. If you need a receipt, if you do the block through me, I can provide you with one. Taking two weeks of antiviral medicine several months ago will not impact the blot. You can order the test kit at any time. And I think it could be good to talk to your partner about these results and to let them know you were doing the western blot. We don’t know if Covid vaccines have any impact on IgG tests. I see no point in getting another IgG test. Not if you’re going to do the western blot.
