I have certainly seen false positives at your index value and I think a western blot would be helpful for you to understand if you are really infected or not. We can have a consultation and work on getting that testing done. I think whenever someone tests positive for HSV 2, they start to have tingling and burning and leg pain – I bet 95% of the time! There is a link to getting a western blot on this site – just follow it and set up an appointment. We’ll get this clearer together OR you can do the blot with your regular provider – either will work!
