Without an index value, the number associated with a positive test, I can’t really provide you with any guesses about how likely this is to be a false positive. You could try going to a lab that gives index values, like Quest or LabCorp. It is unusual for clinicians to still be ordering IgG tests that don’t give index values. If you are seeing me on Tuesday, we can order the western blot but you could do this test and have it waiting in the background, while we wait for the blot to come back?
